About TST

The Social Therapist (TST) strives to bring therapy-in-short to the one place we seem to spend most of our time - our virtual devices. This is a space to support change, growth, and enhance our understanding of ourselves and those around us. The initiative was launched with a mission to create a platform that helps us find some ways to enhance our self-awareness and self-love. The main focus of all therapists from team TST is to create a safe, non-judgemental space for the client to explore what they wish to work on and discover as well as strengthen the tools to cope with. We also work with organisations via consulting, trainings, and workshops to facilitate better mental health for all stakeholders and build better systems that are inclusive, and adaptive.

Simran is one of the best therapists that I have ever had. She is kind, non-judgmental and accepting. She is open to feedback and always respectful. I have seen a significant improvement in my mental health since starting my therapeutic relationship and I highly recommend her.

Simran is a counselling psychologist who works with adults, young adults, and teens navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. She believes that change becomes possible when we feel safe enough to be vulnerable and are met with curiosity, compassion, and care. Her work centres on slowing down to understand ourselves and develop self-compassion, while also taking responsibility for the ways we want to grow and change.

Rooted in a trauma-informed, queer-affirming and relational approach to therapy, Simran views therapy as more than symptom management, wherein it can help clients recognise patterns, build on their strengths, and develop mind-body awareness to facilitate change. She integrates attachment theory, internal family systems, narrative, solution-focused and mindfulness-based practices, depending on the client's needs.
